A SharePoint Online tutorial by Peter Kalmström
 The
SharePoint Online modern page has a web part for news sharing.
In the demo below Peter Kalmström, CEO and Systems Designer
of kalmstrom.com Business Solutions, describes how you can
use it.
When Peter recorded the demo there were two News web parts
with different layouts. These web parts have now been merged
into one, and the layout is set by editing the web part.
The creation of the News pages, which Peter shows in the
demo, is the same. Add the News web part via the plus sign,
add the piece of news you want to share and Publish the
News web part.
News creation process:
- Add a new message by clicking on the + Add link
or the Add news button. A new modern page will open.
- Write a news heading = the name of the page.
- Insert the news message in the form of one of the
modern web parts, for example text, images, videos or
a combination with multiple web parts.
- Publish the page.
