Add Pictures Using Picture Library Slideshow Web Part

A SharePoint Online tutorial by Peter Kalmström

SharePoint icon In the demos below Peter Kalmström, CEO and Systems Designer of kalmstrom.com Business Solutions, explains the benefits of using a picture library to store images. He also shows how to add pictures using a web part called ‘Picture Library Slideshow Web Part’.

The benefit of using a picture library is that you by default get three different views in the library.
  • The Thumbnails view, which shows thumbnails of all pictures.
  • The Slides view, where you can move between different pictures.
  • The All Pictures view, which looks like a standard library list.
