Below
is what we want to see in future versions of Calendar
Browser. The priorities are fluent, but if you like
a feature and wish to make it reality soon, you are very
welcome to sponsor it.
Then we will put "your" feature on the top of
the list.
We also welcome all suggestions from the kalmstrom.com Subscriber
Community, whether your organization has a possibility to
sponsor the development of new features or not.
Current development, for release in Q2 -23
Calendar Browser V3 is a major re-build. We are using
a new programming language called TypeScript, and it has
given us some new possibilities. Microsoft markets this
language as "JavaScript for the Enterprise".
With version 3, we will be able to offer Premium copies
of Calendar Browser, something that evaluators as
well as current customers have requested. We also aim to
make Calendar Browser fully functional within a Teams
tab.
Calendar Browser V3 will come in four editions, all
included in the subscription: Sandboxed Solution, Client-side
web part, PowerShell script and Add-in/App.
Views enhancements:
Fast loading of different views.
Each resource calendar has Day, Day Timeline, Week,
Month and Month Timeline views.

from all views in all resource calendars.

in all resource calendars.
The current number of events in each resource is
displayed in each view.
Weeknumbers in the Month view.
Icon that indicates that the booking has orders
in all views.
Form enhancements:

Business intelligence
Export
earlier bookings to an Access or SQL server database
and let Calendar Browser generate Excel-reports
on the resource usage. The database is open and may
also be used for other purposes.
Send alerts to the responsible when supplies
are ordered with a booking.
