Word Online
A SharePoint Online tutorial by Peter Kalmström
In this tutorial in the SharePoint Online from Scratch
series, Peter Kalmström shows how to work with Word
Online.
When you are in a document library in SharePoint Online
on Office 365, Word documents by default open in Word Online.
Word Online is a great way to create, store, and share documents.
It runs in the browser and automatically saves your document
to the document library it was created in. Word Online looks
almost the same as the desktop version of Word, but some
things are missing in it. On the other hand a Word Online
document can be edited by multiple people at the same time.
This is what Peter shows in the demo below:
- How to open a Word Online document.
- How to edit a Word Online document.
- How various users can work on a same document.
- How to rename a document.
